Props to Seven Weeks Coffee! Their coffee is already four or five stars as compared to any commercial brand out there. Hands down, better than anything on the store shelves. The Haitian medium roast is mellow, low acidity, smooth, and hints of sweetness to it, like a little chocolate or even graham cracker.

The Best at Seven Weeks

I first ordered the Haitian coffee from Seven Weeks solely out of curiosity, with no expectation it’d be particularly good. Was I surprised—it’s one of the best coffees I’ve ever brewed at home, and probably ever drunk period. For my taste at any rate, I’ll make that clear too. I’m not big on a lot of ‘bite’ in my brew. Anyway this has got a unique combination of interesting flavor but utter smoothness. Selfishly I’d like it to remain an undiscovered gem so it never goes in short supply, but also never large-scale commercialized. But whoever is growing, selecting and roasting this one need to be recognized.
